The wooden Pilates ladder barrel is one of the models we build, and the photo above shows a run of them side by side. Each unit pairs a padded curved barrel with a wooden ladder section and a low platform, so a studio can work from several positions on one piece of equipment.
Five Points Buyers Check on a Ladder Barrel
Versatile training position. The barrel, the ladder rungs and the platform give a range of handholds and seat heights, which is why studios use one unit for different parts of a session rather than a single fixed pose.
Maple or oak frame. The frame is available in two woods, maple or oak, so a buyer can match the barrel to the finish they already stock.
Leather in several colours. The padded barrel is upholstered in leather with multiple colour options, so a studio or a private label can pick the shade that fits its own look.
Suggested starting quantity of 3 units. We generally suggest starting with 3 units or more, which is a suggestion rather than a fixed minimum.
